Pulling around to pick up last piece of cargo before heading west!

Cross country trip, its bound to happen.
First time suiting up is in PA.

As far as traveling goes there are two seasons, snow season & construction season.

The exhilarating open road!

80 West is going to be a very popular sign for awhile.

Each time we stopped we would pass this guy again.
(beep beep he is the Roadrunner).

Had to suit up for the 2nd time in Ohio.

Defiance, OH for the night, day 1 is history! 647 miles behind us.

We conquered NY, PA & Ohio!

Cloud cover a welcomed break from the sun.

We have to get gas 4 or 5 times a day and that's a welcomed break
but soon we will need a rear tire too.

WOW!! I like it.

So what do tractor trailers and heavy trucks do when they overheat their brakes from driving down mountains? They intentionally drive off road. Yup right into a uphill gravel pit.

Great riding roads.

Now Jess is just rubbing it in.

Found this place when we first got to San Fran. Called hot spud. Take a potato and fill it with everything you can think of. Add beer and consume. Awesome!

First impression of Sa Francisco? Where's all the warm weather? I was surprised by it. Been through such extremes in temperatures on this trip.

In napa/sonoma country. Ate at Bottega restaurant. Aaaaamazing food and wine is awesome.
