Rob & Joe at Lake George
Americade was Joe's new bikes first tour.
Ok so some of us waited until vacation to get a hair
cut.
Truth is Cheryl is the best in NY
located at the entrance to The Sagamore in Bolting Landing
Country Kitchen for breakfast.
Decided to go a little north then just head west for a couple hours
and see where it takes us. Doesn't really matter every road
in the Adirondacks is great for riding.
Tuesday morning at Americade, duh.
The sign was blocking the morning sun so Joe got rid of
it.
"Head west my friend" and we did.
and we just kept going.
After a couple hours we stopped for coffee.
Another rider heading in the opposite direction (to Americade)
said he was coming from Ogdensburg, NY about 40 miles away.
Ogdensburg? It borders Canada and its only 10:30 AM.
Oh we have to do it, Joe can smell the Cuban cigars already!
So past many more lakes...
and some Amish folk in their horse drawn carriage.
I know we missed the carriage, blah blah blah
it is hard taking pictures while riding along side a big ass horse!
and there it was, the Ogdensburg border crossing.
and it's only noon!
95 degrees and hazy
The 401 east.
We'll ride along the St. Lawrence until we get to another crossing
and turn back into the states.
Really cool bike right? Thanks #1!
We took a slight scenic detour on the Long Sault Parkway
which skips across 11 islands in the St. Lawrence River.
I wonder what that French word means?
Hey, I can't think of something for every picture
make up your own comment.
$5.50 toll for a 7 mile island hop and its back to the
states.

Even without the 95 degree weather that's a hot
construction worker.
Hmm, those cutoff jeans make it hard to notice the "hardhat with sneakers?"
Back to NY for lunch.
Back to the awesome riding roads of the Adirondacks.
Lunch in Saranac Lake at a roadside BBQ.
Our waitress was Paris Hilton's sister
(just shut up and go with it).
Back to Bolton Landing & the Northward Ho
We relax planning for another ride.
Thursday ride... "covered bridges of Washington
County."
Joe & Lorenza
Angela & Rob
it's not a shed it is the actual covered bridge of 1858
Now closed it is replaced with a steal deck bridge.
Joe & Lorenza having fun on the replacement bridge.
Enough of this lets move on to Fridays ride.
This is a squashed picture to make us look fatter.
Look carefully you can see the salmon jumping up the
water fall.
Really you looked? No kidding? It's not the season silly.
Today we are storm chasers.
After taking this picture of Joe & Lorenza, Angela barley had time to
stow the camera away before the skies opened up.
It poured so hard The Niagara Falls were jealous.
