A 150 mile loop through NY & NJ from Backroads Magazine.
Ride Review
This ride reminded us on how important pre-rides are.
Good "riding roads" were plentiful.
A pre-ride would have informed us of the road closures
along with finding a Convenience style gas station for a midway stop
plus eliminating some of the left/right turns & stop signs for a group this
size.

Diggs does a lot of picture taking while riding.
Even self portraits.
A lot of great riding roads and...
not so great riding roads.
Jumpin Jeff
The purpose of a "pre ride" is too verify road conditions and
prevent traveling 3 miles down a road closed for construction.
It took 3 detours to get back on track.
After the 3 attempts at getting around the detour and back on the route
we decided it would be a good idea for a break.
We also made a few u-turns trying to find a place to stop.
Obviously this was a day of many "oops."

Time to hit the road again.
The dreaded stop sign.
Stop #2 Another mistake, 121 miles before fuel stop.
Hmm this ride looks so comfortable who cares about stopping?

Got the fuel now for lunch we head down the road to Greenwood Lake.
Did you say lunch?
